Acura TLX

The Acura TLX is a luxury midsize sports sedan introduced in 2014 as a replacement for the Acura TL and TSX, blending performance, technology, and comfort. The first-generation TLX (2015–2020) offered a choice between a 2.4L inline-4 engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 3.5L V6 paired with a nine-speed automatic, along with options for front-wheel drive (FWD) or Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). It featured a well-appointed cabin, advanced safety features, and Acura’s signature Jewel Eye LED headlights. The second-generation TLX, launched in 2021, introduced an all-new platform with a more rigid body structure, improved suspension, and a turbocharged 2.0L inline-4 engine producing 272 hp, replacing the previous naturally aspirated options. Acura also revived the high-performance Type S variant, equipped with a 3.0L turbocharged V6 generating 355 hp, SH-AWD, and sport-tuned adaptive suspension, catering to driving enthusiasts. Inside, the TLX offers a premium cabin with high-quality materials, a 10.2-inch infotainment display, and Acura’s True Touchpad Interface.
